Use this dialog box to export budget values to a file. The budget values can then be used by an external program such as Microsoft Excel. Select the budget version to be exported in Budget Versions window, then select the Export to File operation. The budget version to be exported must have Active status.
A standard installation of IFS/Financials contains
pre-packaged External File Templates that are related to the export of Budget Year and
Budget Period values. These templates expect a file that is tab delimited and
where each value has a quote qualifier, such as "1000".
It is possible to create
user-defined templates in the External Files toolkit
for budget exporting. If more than one template is available, then it is possible
to specify
the default template for a company in the
Default External File Templates window in IFS/Accounting Rules.
