Hold from Depreciation
Explanation
This activity is used when an object has to be hold from depreciation for a
specified period. For example, if an object is undergoing a significant
maintenance repair or object is pulled from service, you may need to stop the
depreciation until the asset is back in production process.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity, the object for which you want to hold
depreciation must be connected to at least one book.
System Effects
When you run the depreciation proposal/depreciation plan, the depreciation
will not be calculated for objects that are on hold, such objects will have zero
depreciation amounts for the respective period.
