Change Contract Status to Active

Explanation

This activity is used to change the status from Preliminary or Closed to Active for a lease contract to be able to create postings for the lease contract.

Prerequisites

In order to change the status, the lease contract must have the Preliminary or Closed status.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, the lease contract is set to Active status and it will be ready for creating lease accounting related postings.

 Procedure

Use the following procedure to change the status of the lease contract to Active:

1.  Open the Lease Accounting Contract window and search for the contract that you want to change the status to Active.
2.  Right-click on the header of the window and in the Status list, click Set Active to set the status to Active.
3.  Alternatively, you can also change the status for multiple contracts in the Lease Accounting Contracts window.
