Add Project

Explanation

Use this activity to add projects to already created revenue recognition forecast. You can select projects based on project identity, project group, and project manager. Forecast lines for new projects will be created based on the period profile ID connected to the revenue recognition forecast.

Prerequisites

• Revenue recognition forecast need to be created.
• The status of the forecast should be Preliminary.
• Revenue recognition method connected to project should be POC Income First or POC Revenue First or Event Based.
• Project should be valid at least one period after the cut off accounting period.
• Project should not be included in the revenue recognition forecast.

System Effects

Forecast lines for the added projects will be generated according to the selected period profile.

Procedure

1. Open the Revenue Recognition Forecast window.
2. In the Projects tab, right click and then click Add Project.
3. In the Add Project dialog box, select project.
4. Click OK to save the changes.
