Define Forwarder

Explanation

This activity is used to enter information about a forwarder to be able to find and connect to an existing export license. This information is copied from the order if initiated from the customer order or through an RMA (Return Material Authorization), and is not editable then.  

Prerequisites

An export license with the specified forwarder or an export license where forwarder is identified by a % sign must exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• Export licenses with the specified forwarders will be found.

Procedure

1. Open the Find and Connect Export License window.
2. Click the Forwarder tab.
3. Enter a forwarder or select one from the List of Values in the Forwarder field.
4. The name of the forwarder will appear in the Name field.
