Exclude Version from Deliverables for Customer

Explanation

Use this activity to exclude a version for a customer previous included. Can exclude an included version if it is necessary to remove deliverable lines from the selection possible to use for creation of business object. Exclude is a manual action that can be executed for all versions that doesn’t have a business object connection.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that an estimate header and version exists, the version can’t be Cancelled. At least one top item must have been defined for the tree structure. A customer must also be connected to the estimate and the version must be included for the customer.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a version and its deliverable lines are excluded for a customer connected to the estimate. Deliverable lines for the excluded version are removed from the selection possible to use for creation of business object.

Procedure

1. Open the Estimate window.
2. Query for the estimate id which contains the customer that you want to include a version for, or populate the window and click the requested number in the Estimate ID list.
3. Click the Deliverables tab.
4. Use the drop-down if more than one customer is connected to the estimate to select the accurate one.
5. In the upper table righ-click on the record representing the include version to exclude for the customer, select. Exclude.
6. The include check box is unchecked for the version record.
