Estimate Part Transfer

Explanation

Use this activity to send the product type items to Transfer Estimate Products window where product transfer settings can be defined and the transfer executed.

Note: No records are created in Transfer Estimate Products window, until right mouse button option Transfer Estimate Products is executed from the estimate window. This means that this right mouse button option must have be executed inside the Estimate window first to search for a record when the Transfer Estimate Products window is opened from the navigator.

Prerequisites

• Estimate status should be Confirmed or higher.
• Items with reference item type Product shall exist in the estimate structure.
• To populate a record in the Transfer Estimate Products window when it is opened from the navigator, then it is a condition that the right mouse button option Transfer Estimate Products has been executed inside the Estimate window first.

System Effects

Manufactured and purchase items are added in the Transfer Estimate Products window. If there are more than one product type item in the same level below a generic top item, Transfer Estimate Product window gets several header records i.e., separate record for each top product type item.

Procedure

1. If the top item is a generic one go to Estimate/Items/Generic tab. If the top item is a product go to Estimate/Items/Product tab.
2. Right click and click Transfer Products.
