Define Site for Deliverable Line

Explanation

This activity is used to define a site for a deliverable lien representing a generic top item. Generic items are considered as site independent, it is just a container of information. It is optional to connect a site to enable the option Create and Update for business opportunity. If no site is defined for the deliverable line this can be done for the corresponding buisness opportunity line.

Prerequisites

 This activity requires that;

• An estimate must exists which isn’t Closed, Cancelled or Completed.
• The estimate must have a customer connected that has a version included containing a deliverable line representing a generic item
• The version included for the customer cannot be processed to Completed.

System Effects

A site is defined for a deliverable line representing a generic item.

Procedure

1. Open the Estimate window.
2. Search for the Estimate ID with a customer connected that has a version included containing a deliverable line representing a generic top item.
3. Click the Deliverables tab.
4. In the lower table put the cursor in the Site field, enter or use the list of value to define a site.
5. Save.
