Copy Estimate Revision

Explanation

Use this activity to copy a source revision to a new estimate revision. All estimate details related to the revision are copied to the destination revision.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that a source estimate revision must have been defined.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, a new estimate revision is created, the destination revision. The system copies all details related to the source- to the destination revision. For the new estimate revisions that contain items, the revision is set to InProgress. If the new estimate revisions doesn’t contain any items then is it set to Created status.

Procedure

In Estimate, select the source revision to copy.
Right-click anywhere in header, then click Copy Revision. The Copy Estimate Revision dialog box opens.
In the Source Revision table, is relevant read only estimate data for the revision presented.
In the Destination Revision No field, is the next available number in the sequence presented.
It is possible to define a Responsible Person and a Valid Until date for the destination revision.
Click OK
