Prepare Reestablishment Instructions

Explanation

Use this activity to indicate in what sequence the equipment object or linear asset has to be placed into which ‘position’ to bring the equipment or linear asset up to an operational mode after the shutdown (establishment). The reestablishment should not start until the connected work order is completed (in status Work Done). In order to select a position for the object id, the object must have an object type defined, and positions must have been defined for the position type connected to the object type in Equipment Basic Data. In order to select a position for the linear asset, the linear asset must have an linear asset type defined, and positions must have been defined for the position type connected to the linear asset type in Linear Asset Basic Data.

Before preparing reestablishment instructions, the following must have been completed:

As a result of this entry, the reestablishment instructions are prepared and valid for use. In order to start using them, you have to approve the delimitation order first.

Procedure

  1. Find the isolation order.
  2. Select the Reestablishment Instructions tab and use the New function.
  3. Enter the number in the Row No field.
  4. In the Site field, use List of Values to select another site, if appropriate.
  5. Enter Object ID or Linear Asset ID and Segment ID (if appropriate), Position Type, and Position ID.
  6. Save the information.

Note: If you have previously created establishment instructions, you can revert them and automatically create reestablishment instructions, if applicable. From the Establishment Instructions tab, select the Create Reestablishment operation via the right mouse button.
