Connect Customer to Object

Explanation

Use this activity to connect a customer to an equipment object.

Prerequisites

In order to connect a customer to an object the information on the customer must exist in IFS/Enterprise.

System Effects

• A customer is connected to an object.
• A service request for the current object and customer can be created.

Procedure

1. Open the Functional Objector Serial Object window and click the Parties tab.
2. Create a new record (F5).
3. In the Party Type field, click the arrow and select the party type Customer.
4. In the Identity field, use the List of Values to select the customer you want to associate with the object.
5. Save the information (F12).
