Use this dialog box to create a new functional object by copying an existing one. This process saves time if you need to register a number of identical or largely similar objects. While copying, you can also copy a quantity of information previously associated with the object to be copied. This can be information such as spare parts, parameters, documents, requirements, test points, PM, and parties. The dialog box is reached via the Copy Functional Object right mouse button option in the Functional Objects and Functional Object windows. You can also reach the dialog box via the Copy Object right mouse button option in Objects.
