Run Qualification Matching

Explanation

Use this activity to define how you want to view the matching results and then perform the matching. 

Prerequisites

In order to perfom this activity, analysis data sources and matching pattern have to be defined.

Procedure

1. Open the Qualification Matching window and go to the Run and view results tab.
2. In the Number of Results area, pick how do you want the analysis results to be presented:
   • Click the All option if you want to view every person or job that fits the matching criteria.
   • Click First option if you want only to view a specific number of first matches that the system will find. The number of matches to be displayed has to be entered in the adjacent field.
   • Click Best option if you want to view only a number of the best matches. The number should be entered in the field next to the option.
     To use this option, click the Setup Ranking button. In  the newly opened dialog box, rank the matching criteria from most to least important. The Sorting Type field determines if certain criterion should be as high as possible, as low as possible, or if someone only has to have the criterion.
     The ranking works as follows: The system looks at criterion no.1 and lists people starting with those who have the best score to those who have the worst one. If two people have the same score, the system moves to criterion no.2  and does repeats the evaluation.
     Click OK to close the dialog box.
3. Select the Run in Background check box if you want the analysis to run in background (this is advisable in case of large data volume as the process might take some time.
4. Select the Show values for excluded criteria if you want to view all of pattern's qualifications, even if they were not included in the matching.
5. Save your settings.
6. To run the analysis, press Run. The Summary and Employees tabs will be populated with your matches.
