Register Performance Appraisal Indicator

Explanation

This activity is used to set up the Performance Appraisal Indicator. It is used to measure how an employee has performed. The basic data will show what nominal value or grade an employee should have, averaged over a period of time, to be eligible for a particular Performance Appraisal Index.

Procedure

  1. Open the Performance Indicator window and add a new record.
  2. In the Performance Index field, enter the description of how an employee performs, e.g., Poor, Average, Good, Exceptional.
  3. In the Minimum Value field, enter the minimum amount of points that an employee has to receive in order to qualify for the performance index you are creating.
  4. In the Maximum Value field, enter the maximum amount of points that an employee has to receive in order to qualify for the performance index you are creating.
  5. Select the Minimum Value Included check box if you want the the range for the performance appraisal nominal value to include the specified minimum value.
  6. Select the Maximum Value Included check box if you want the the range for the performance appraisal nominal value to include the specified maximum value.
  7. Save the information.
