Define Information with Restricted Access
Explanation
This activity is used to register the employee performance information to
which access is controlled for the self evaluator. The status of the information is used to control access
for the self evaluator to particular fields
as specified in the Employee Access
Setup
window. That is, if a field is specified in the
Employee Access Setup
window, that particular field will not be editable for the self evaluator when
the respective objective/activity/general performance criterion reaches the
specified status for an employee.

Procedure
- Open the Employee Access Setup
window.
- Search or populate to find an already defined
status value in the Status field.
- Create a new record in the table to specify the window in which
fields should be given restricted access for the selected status value. Enter the window name in the
Container Window field. You can select either
Employee Activities, Employee Objectives or General
Performances as the container window.
- In the Column Name field, select the field to which access should be controlled.
- Repeat the same steps if you want to control access to other
fields in the Employee Activities,
Employee Objectives
or
General Performances
windows.
- Save the information.
