Define Analysis Configuration

Explanation

This activity is used to define what qualities you are looking for, i.e., what is the perfect match. In order to do this, you will have to select someone or something that will serve as a pattern. During the matching process, the application will analyze selected groups of people in search of whoever (or whatever) matches the pattern.

Prerequisites

In order to perfom this activity, an analysis header has to be registered.

Procedure

  1. Open the Qualification Matching window and go to the What to match with tab.
  2. In the Pattern field, select what will be used as the pattern for the analysis. Following options are available:
  3. In the Company ID field, enter the identifier of the company from which the selected pattern should be taken.
    Exceptions: Person, Applicant
  4. In the ID field, enter the identifier of the item which will serve as the pattern. E.g., if you selected Profile as a pattern, the ID will be the ID of a qualification profile.
  5. In the Matching Criteria area, select what attributes of the pattern will be actually analyzed:
  6. Click Advanced to open the Criteria Setting dialog.
  7. On the Internal Work Experience tab:
  8. You can select Include Primary Jobs Only check box if you want to narrow the analysis only to data stored in primary jobs.
  9. On the Criteria Order tab, you can define the order in which selected criteria will be analyzed. You can speed up the analysis process by moving the most selective criteria (those least likely to be met) to the top.
  10. Click OK.
  11. In the Description field, you can enter any additional information about the analysis.
  12. Save your changes.
