Register Property Field Definition

Explanation

Use this function to define properties for Company, Work Location, Job, Position, Person, Employee and Dependent. In the Object field, specify for which object the property may connect to. You can use the right mouse button menu option View Property Values to give a property specific values.

System Effects

When a Property Rule has been registered it can be connected to a specific Company, Work Location, Job, Position, Person, Employee and Dependent in the corresponding window.

Procedure

1. Open the Property Field Definition window and select New.
2. In the Context field select from the List of Values, whether the context is Company, Position, Job, Employee, Person, Office or Dependent.
3. In the Data Type field, select whether the property value should be of type String, Number or Date.
4. In the Length field, enter the maximum number of characters/digits that can be used to define property values in the Property Field Values window.
