Plan Actions That Resolve the Issue

Explanation

This activity is used to register and manage specific actions that should be taken in order to resolve a disciplinary or grievance issue.
You can register activities one by one or you can load a preset of activities from a template.

Procedure

  1. Open the Disciplinary and Grievance Management window.
  2. Search or populate to find the relevant disciplinary or grievance issue.
  3. If you want to load a default set of actions, right-click the upper table and click Get Actions From Template. Then, select the appropriate template from the list.
    Note: Only templates available for a specific issue category or sub-category will be displayed.
    If you need more actions, go to step 4. If you want to register details for the actions you have loaded, go through steps 6-9. If you have all of the relevant actions, go to step 10.
  4. In the upper tab, add a new record.
  5. In the Action field, enter the action which should be taken to resolve the issue. You can use a list of values.
  6. In the Target Completion field, you can enter the date on which/by which the action should be completed.
  7. In the Employee Responsible field, you can enter the identifier of an employee who will be responsible for overseeing the action.
  8. In the Comments field, you can enter any comments on the action.
  9. In the Action Order field, define/change the order in which actions should be taken. Actions should be performed from the lowest to the highest number. It is possible to skip some numbers, leaving space for additional actions to be added later.
  10. Save your changes.
