Link Accounting Periods with Calendar Periods for Statistics

Explanation

This activity is used to connect accounting periods defined in the company with calendar periods used for statistics in IFS/Business Reporter

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity;

• Periods for statistics are required to be already defined in the Period Calendar for Statistics window.
• Accounting periods are required to be defined in the Accounting Periods window.

Procedure

1. Open the Financial Period Connection window.
2. Query or populate to find the calendar in which the required periods are defined.
3. Create a new record in the table.
4. Enter the year and period of the calendar in their respective fields.
5. In the Acc Year and Acc Period fields, enter the accounting year and accounting period which should be linked to the calendar period specified in step 4.
6. Save the information.
