This activity is used to define customer tracked position parts. When a position part is set as tracked, all real parts including the installed part and alternates that are valid for the tracked position will be treated as tracked parts.
The following table shows the different menu options that can be used to create or maintain a tracked parts list:
Menu Option | Description |
Remove Tracked Parts List | Removes the entire tracked parts list. |
Import Parts from Template | Creates a tracked parts list that consists of all position parts for a template. |
Copy Tracked Parts List | Creates a tracked parts list by copying parts from another tracked parts list which is defined for the same overhaul object. |
Mark All as Tracked | Selects the Tracked check box for all the entries in the list. |

Copy Tracked Parts List
- To create the list manually, create a new record (F5) in the table and select the required Position Part Number from the List of Values.
- To import position parts from a template, right-click and click Import Parts from Template. Make sure the required customer and top part revision is entered in the Import Parts from Template dialog box before initiating the import.
- To copy an existing list, right-click and click Copy Tracked Parts List. Make sure the required data is entered in the Copy Tracked Parts List dialog box before copying data.
