Create and Maintain Minimum Release Life Information
Explanation
Use this activity to define minimum release life values per part number for
the customer's overhaul objects. The minimum release life value can be
over-ridden in every visit.
The minimum release life value is used;
- As the required remaining life for all the life limited parts (LLPs) in
the overhaul object's serial structure.
- As the default value for the work scope defined for a visit, for a serial
of a part number for the customer.
- In the conformance check for all LLPs that are not included in the work
scope.
Prerequisites
- The customer must be defined in the Enterprise/Customer/Customer
window.
- The operational parameters that are to have default
values must have been defined for the part number (For more information see
the online help file: Serial Part Info/Operational
Parameters).
System Effects
When an operational parameter is selected in the
Maintenance Event Summary/LLPs
tab, the corresponding default value will be displayed. The default values can
be used in the final configuration conformance check for all LLPs that are not
included in the work scope.
