This cube dimension represents financial Balance Sheet structures related to Account. There is no core dimension aviailable as source. Instead the view ACCOUNTING_STRUCTURE_ITEM is used as source. The view contains node and leaf values for all accounting structures in any company. During the ETL process a specific account structure dimension is created, DIM_ACC_STRUCTURE_ITEM_ACCOUNT, i.e. accounting structure item info related to only accounts but in any company. The DSV definition refers to this dimension but there is a filter criteria that sorts out only structures with identity according to Configuration table Acc_Struct_Config where "CODE_PART_TYPE= 'ACCOUNT_BS' ". This means that to be able to use the Balance Sheet Structure dimension e.g. when browsing the cube, there must exist a structure with an identity according to the above mentioned configuration in companies to be analyzed.
All cubes that refers to this dimension will have the attributes and hierarchies as described below.
A unique identity for a row is defined as COMPANY, STRUCTURE_ID, NAME_VALUE and STRUCTURE_ITEM_TYPE. The NAME_VALUE represents a node or a leaf name/id and the STRUCTURE_ITEM_TYPE is '1' for nodes and '2' for leaves.
