Connect Requirement Activity

Explanation

When a part is connected to a requirement activity, the activity dates are used to determine need dates for material when running the right mouse button menu option Calculate Gross Requirement in Project Product/Demand/MPL tab.

Prerequisites

• The project item must exist.
• The requirement activity must exist.
• There cannot be a project item on a higher level in the structure that overrides the project cost.

System Effects

• The activity dates are used to determine need dates for material when calculating gross requirement.
• An entry is made in the project item's journal.

Procedure

1. Select the part you want to connect to the activity.
2. Use the List of Values to enter a requirement activity in the Activity Sequence field.
3. Save.
