Create Operational Mode
Explanation
Use this activity to create operational modes. If IFS/Operational Plans is used, an operational mode can be used for defining
a certain operational event on a manual plan line in an operational plan.
The operational modes are also grouped into operational mode groups in basic data. Those operational mode groups
can be connected on functional and serial objects for defining, if the object is
in use during certain time period where the operational modes are set in an operational plan.

System Effects
- The operational modes can be set on manual plan lines on an operational plan.
- The operational modes can be grouped in operational mode groups.
- The operational modes can, through the created operational mode groups, be connected to functional and serial objects.
- If IFS/Maintenance Planning Board is used, then it is used to define
object accessibility using operational modes connected to the Object and
manual operational plan lines in Operational plan window.

Procedure
- Open the
Work Order and PM Basic Data
window and click the
Operational Modes tab.
- Create a new record (F5).
- Enter a unique identity coding for the operational mode and
a description.
- Save the information (F12).
