Define Address Presentation
Explanation
Use this activity to define the presentation layout and edit
layout for address fields in the application. This definition can be done per
country. It is possible to make one country contain the default edit
layout and another country contain the default display layout.
If a country is not defined in the
Address Presentation window,
that country will get the display and edit layout that is marked as default.
Prerequisites
The countries must be defined as used in application in the
ISO Code Usage window in Application Services.
System Effects
This activity will effect how addresses are presented in clients and in
reports. It will also effect the layout for address registration and editing
throughout the application.

Procedure
- Open the
Address Presentation window.
- Create a new record to define a new address presentation or populate and
select the address presentation to be modified.
- Enter the country code the presentation method is applied to by selecting
from the List of Values in the Country field.
- Enter a description for the presentation layout.
- Select the Def. Display checkbox if you want the presentation
layout to be the default display layout for countries not defined in this
window.
- Select the Def. Edit checkbox if you want the presentation layout
to be the default edit layout for countries not defined in this window.
- On the field User Defined Row Count you can enter the number of
address rows you want to have in the Display Layout for a
selected country.
- Save the information.
- Edit the information as appropriate in the
Display Layout
tab to modify how to present address fields in clients and in
reports.
- Edit the information as appropriate in the
Edit Layout tab
to modify layout used for address registration and editing
- Save the information.
