Correct Unpacked Data

Explanation

Use this activity to correct unpacked input file data after reading an input file and failing to unpack it correctly.

When errors are reported during the unpack step and these errors have occurred due to the file data and not the basic data setup in External Files, then this activity can be used to directly correct the incorrect external transactions without having to correct the input file.

Prerequisites

An external input file must have been unpacked where errors were reported during the unpack step, and the errors must not be related to the basic data setup.

System Effects

After correcting the transactions, the unpack step can be performed again to determine whether it is now possible  to unpack the file without errors.
