Copy External File Template
Explanation
Use this activity to copy an existing external file
template. For example, you might want to use this feature if
it is necessary to use a file template that differs slightly from a system-defined file template. Since system-defined file
templates are more or less protected from update, this feature makes it
easy to create a copy that can be easily altered.
Prerequisites
An external source file template must be available.
System Effects
This activity will create the following as an exact
copy of the source file template, except for the identity and the description:
- A new external file template header.
- File template details.
- File template options for input files.
- File template options for output files.
- External file control conditions for input file
templates.
- External file control conditions for output file
templates.
