Set Default Status of Shop Orders to Planned

Explanation

Use this activity to define the default value for whether shop orders are created in the Planned status. Otherwise they will be created in status Released. This value will be used as the default setting for Create SO in Planned Status when creating a new site. This optional task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person.

This activity has no prerequisites.

System Effects

When creating a new site, the check box Create SO in Planned Status is selected by default.

Procedure

1. Open the Parameters for Distribution and Manufacturing window.
2. In the Create SO in Status Planned field, click either Yes or No.
3. Save the changes.
