Enter Message Receiver

Explanation

Use this activity to connect a site to a message receiver.

To be able to operate in a distributed environment, you need to establish a connection between the site and the connectivity message receiver. Connectivity handles everything regarding messaging/transportation of data to other databases.

In IFS/Vehicle Information Management, all maintenance tasks are performed in workshops, which, in a distributed environment, reside in different databases. Normally, these different databases are also independent sites in IFS Supply Chain. Workshops in IFS/Vehicle Information Management are also connected to a site.
