Enter Default Address for Site

Explanation

Use this activity to enter a default address for the site. This mandatory task is to be performed by a system administrator or equivalent person.

This address will be used on all purchase orders. All functions that automatically create purchase orders/requisitions will use this address since it is the default. If desired, you can change it manually on the order.

The address will also used as the ship from address in the customer order flow when shipping goods using consignments.

This is also the address used for receiving objects from the customer to be repaired or overhauled in maintenance.

Prerequisites

This activity has the following prerequisites:

• The site must be created.
• At least one delivery address must be defined for the company to which the site is connected.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• The default delivery address is defined for the site.

Procedure

1. Open the Site window.
2. Query for the site whose default delivery address you wish to define.
3. On the Extended Site Info tab, select the delivery address from the List of Values in the Delivery Address field.
4. Save the changes.
