Connect Business Activity to Existing Business Opportunity

Explanation

You can connect the business activity to an existing business opportunity. This can be done by right-clicking on the header and clicking Connect to Existing Business Opportunity in the Business Activity window. The Connect to Existing Business Opportunity dialog box will then be displayed for user to select the target business opportunity.

Note: This option is disabled for business lead and supplier activities.

Prerequisites

The business activity must have been saved.

System Effects

The business activity is connected to an existing business opportunity. At the same time the References tab of the activity will list the connected opportunity. Also the Activity tab of the opportunity will display related opportunity.

Procedure

1. Display the business activity via the Populate or Query function, in the Business Activity window.
2. Right-click and then click Connect to Existing Business Opportunity. The Connect to Existing Business Opportunity dialog box is displayed.
3. Select the target opportunity from the records that appear on the window.
4. Confirm by clicking OK.
