Preview Customer Posting

Explanation

This activity is used to preview postings and thus obtain a general idea about them. When you have entered amount and payment fee, you can preview the postings. You can get a general idea of how the amounts in the entered currency and the accounting currency are distributed between the various accounts and posting types.

Prerequisites

At least one line must be entered in Customer Payment to get access to the preview posting operation in the Transaction tab.

System Effects

The preview posting operation does not cause any system effects.

Procedure

To preview postings:

Select the Transactions tab in Customer Payment.
Click the right mouse button function Preview Postings to see the postings related to that tab.
To get information on the cash account affected, select the General tab and click the right mouse button function Preview Postings.
Exit the screen.
