View/Delete Write-Off Notice Items

Explanation

Use the View Write-Off Notice Items activity to view a customer write-off and to remove lines. You can view all write-offs generated within the system in various statuses, depending on whether they have been selected to a write-off notice proposal or if they already have been printed on a notice.

Prerequisites

This activity requires that customer write-off has taken place in the Transactions tab of Customer Payment.

System Effects

The system effects of this activity depend on whether the status of the write-off is changed. It is possible to change, for example, the status of a write-off from Proposal to Ignore. In that case, the write-off will be excluded from write-off notices.

Procedure

To view write-off notice items:

  1. Select Write-off Notice Items. Use either the Populate or Query function to view existing write-offs.
  2. If you want to change the status on a write-off item, click the Status field and mark the desired status. Click Save.

To delete lines:

  1. Mark the line or lines to be deleted. Select the remove button. Click Save
