Study Cost Variance per Part
Explanation
Use this function to study any cost variance for a part that exists in two different
cost sets. You can choose to study all parts in the cost sets, or define a variance factor
for the parts you want to study.
Prerequisites
- The part(s) you want to study must exist in at least two different cost sets.
- Costs must have been calculated for the part(s).

Procedure
- Open the Part Cost Variances window.
- Invoke the query dialog box (F3).
- Select the site for which you want to compare part costs.
- Select the cost sets you want to compare. The Cost Set A column
acts as the reference cost set to which the Cost Set B is compared.
- You can sort the result by Absolute Level Variance Factor and/or Absolute
Accumulated Variance Factor
