Use this dialog box to copy costs from one cost set to cost set 1. This gives you flexibility in working with costs and allows you to influence how part costs are calculated. This function is useful when you have created a new cost set. The ability to copy work center costs to customized cost sets promotes good follow-up and long-term planning of costs.
Note: Only costs connected to structure/routing alternative * are copied (due to the fact that the inventory valuation logic only handles *). When you copy part costs to cost set 1 (standard costs), the inventory is revalued, and new postings are created.
