Create Other Configuration Change Source

Explanation

This activity is used to create a configuration change source of the Other type, such as an Airworthiness Directive or Service Bulletin to track changes to part group information not originating from an IPC document revision.

Prerequisites

• The configuration baseline must be loaded via the Initial Data Load.

System Effects

• The configuration change source is created in the New status.

Procedure

1. Open the Configuration Change Source page.
2. Click New.
3. In the Code field, enter a unique code for the configuration change source.
4. In the Name field, if required, enter a name.
5. Click Save.
