Reset Value After Repair

Explanation

This activity is used to manually reset the Value After Repair to zero for a serial at the conclusion of a maintenance visit. If required, the value can be reset for all serials in its structure as well.

Procedure

  1. Open the Maintenance Order window and query (F3) for the necessary maintenance order.
  2. Click the Maint. Order Str. tab. and then the Event Detail sub tab or the Included Events tab.
  3. Right-click and then click Reset Value After Repair. The Reset Value After Repair dialog box opens.
  4. Enter a date in the Reset Date field. This date will be set as the last measure date for the operational logging generated when the Value After Repair is reset. For maintenance events in the Finished status, the finish date of the maintenance event will be set by default, but you may adjust this date. The date cannot be earlier that the date of the last operational logging for the serial.
  5. If required, select the Reset all serials in the structure check box to reset the value for all components in the structure of the serial.
  6. Click OK. As a result, Value After Repair will be reset to zero for the serial connected to the maintenance event, as well as its serial structure.
