Define Airworthiness Regulation Codes
Explanation
This activity is used to enter the different
airworthiness regulation codes that will be valid for use when generating an aviation part
certificate. A part certification form which is issued by a maintenance
organization certifies that the maintenance has been performed under this
airworthiness authority regulation. In the instances where the maintenance is performed under other regulations, it is defined as other regulations and corresponding check box in the part certificate will be
selected.

System Effects
- Valid airworthiness regulation codes will be defined.
- The basic data for part certificates is predefined and
ready to be used when creating aviation part certificates for work
orders/maintenance orders.

Procedure
- Open the Part Certificate Basic Data
window.
- Click the Airworthiness Regulation Codes tab and create a
new record (F5).
- In the Regulation Code and Regulation Code Description fields,
enter Regulation Code and description.
- In the Remark field, enter additional information about the
regulation code.
- In the Valid From field,enter the date from which the regulation code
is considered valid.
- In the Valid To field, enter the last date the regulation code is
valid.
Note: Entering values in Valid From and Valid To fields is optional. It is only possible to use regulation codes within the validity period (if entered) to generate certificates.
- Save the information (F12).
