Archive Operational Loggings

Explanation

In this activity you can specify an Archive Up Until Date and all historical operational loggings prior or equal to the given date, will be moved to the archive. When archiving is performed, all historical operational loggings are moved for all serials up until the given date. It will not be possible to have different Archive Up Until Dates for different serials or structures.

Prerequisites

• Historical operational loggings must exist.
• The previous archive transaction must have been completed before a new archiving can be performed (the status cannot be In Progress).

System Effects

All historical operational loggings up until a given date, will be moved from the operational logging history to the archive.

Procedure

1. Open the Archiving of Operational Loggings window and populate (F2) or query (F3) for the last performed archiving.
2. Right-click and click Archive Operational Loggings. The Archive Operational Loggings dialog box opens.
3. In the Archive Up Until Date field, enter the date the historical operational loggings prior or equal to, should be archived.
4. In the Remark field, you may enter a comment concerning the archiving.
5. Select the Run in Background check box to execute the archiving as a background job.
6. Click OK to start the archiving process.
