Use this window to specify career planning information for your employees. You have the option to decide whether the employee's primary job, non-primary jobs or all jobs (primary and non-primary) should be used for the career planning.
For the description of each tab in the window, follow the appropriate link: General, Career Path, Career Counseling, Development Plan, Career Potentiality, Strengths, Development Area or Area of Interest.
The following options are available via the Operations menu or the right mouse button:
Confirm - Use this option to change the Career Planning status from Initiated (the default for newly entered Career Planning Information) to Confirmed.
Approve - Changes the Career Planning Status from Confirmed to Approved, showing that the Career Planning is approved.
Disapprove - Changes the Career Planning Status Confirmed back to Initiated if Career Planning has not been approved.
Obsolete - Changes the Career Planning Status from Approved to Obsolete, showing that the Career Planning is completed. Once you have done this, you cannot make any further changes to this employee's data
Display Obsolete - Displays all data in the Employee drop-down list box, with a status of Obsolete.
Copy from previous Career Planning Period - Copies data from this employee's previous Career Planning Period.
Get from Normal Career Path - Opens the Get from Normal Career Path dialog box, in which you find all Jobs that are defined as next job from the incumbents current job.
View Employee Assignment - This function will open Job Assignments for the specified employee.
