Enter Budget Drivers

Explanation

Budget drivers are used to support the planning process. Drivers can be of two main categories, one that acts as a true driver in the calculation logic, i.e. headcount, square feet, no. of order etc, and another that serves more as a factor, i.e. social charges, that is used in the calculation logic in MS Excel or other external tools. Factors can be planned in one central template to be used by all templates. It is also possible to indicate if values for drivers should be aggregated or not.

It will be possible to plan driver/s within budget templates, and use them within budget templates and in the calculation logic of Excel formulas.

Procedure

1. Open Budget Drivers window.
2. Click New.
3. Enter driver ID and description. 
4. Enter the valid from and until date.
5. If required, select the Roll Up check box.
6. Save.
