Procedure

  1. Open the Budget Template or the Budget Templates window and search for the budget template(s) for which you want to define code string settings.
  2. Right-click in the window and click Code String Settings to open the Code String Settings dialog box. If the code string settings should be defined for more than one template select them all in the Budget Templates window before right-clicking. However, note that the right mouse button option is only enabled if all the budget templates belong to the same process.
  3. Enter code parts using the List of Values. Note: Hidden code parts can be viewed by selecting the right mouse button menu option Code String Settings. Selecting the code parts will let the user view the code parts in the Budget Template window. Here, the user can also enter a fixed code part value to be used in the template. These values can be viewed by selecting the View Fixed Code Parts check box.
  4. Click OK.
