Create Compliance Plan Records
Explanation
Use this activity to define new compliance plan records. The compliance plan is used to identify reference standards relevant to each business area and to plan when each reference standard area will be audited.
Prerequisites
At least one business area and one reference standard must have been defined in the
Audit Basic Data window.
System Effects
As a result of this activity, compliance plan records are created.

Procedure
You can either create the compliance plan using an assistant or you can create new records directly in the
Compliance Planning window.
- To create the compliance plan records using the assistant:
- Open the Create Compliance List Assistant.
- In the Target Year field, enter a value to identify the year in which the audit will be planned.
- In the Target Month field, enter a value to identify the month in which the audit will be planned.
- In the Company field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values. Entering a value in this field is mandatory. The default value is the current company
that the user ID is connected to.
Note: Only users with access to the company entered will be able to view the compliance plan record.
- In the Site field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values. Entering a value in this field is not mandatory.
Note: If a site is entered, then only users with access to that site will be able to view the compliance plan record. If
a site is not entered, then all users
with access to the company
entered in the previous step will be able to view the compliance plan record.
- In the Business Area ID field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values.
- In the Reference Standard field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values.
- Click Next.
- Select the Required check box for one or more reference standard records. One compliance record will be created for each selected
reference ID.
- Click Finish to create the compliance plan record(s).
- To create a compliance plan record in the Compliance Planning window:
- Open the Compliance Planning window.
- Create a new record.
- In the Target Year field, enter a value to identify the year in which the audit will be planned.
- In the Target Month field, enter a value to identify the month in which the audit will be planned.
- In the Company field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values. Entering a value in this field is mandatory. The default value is the current company
that the user ID is connected to.
Note: Only users with access to the company entered will be able to view the compliance plan record.
- In the Site field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values. Entering a value in this field is not mandatory.
Note: If a site has been entered, then only users with access to the site will be able to view the compliance plan record. If no site has been entered then all users
with access to the company entered in the previous step will be able to view the compliance plan record.
- In the Business Area ID field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values.
- In the Reference Standard field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values.
- In the Reference ID field, enter a value or click List to select one from the List of Values.
- Save when complete.
