Convert to Integration Package

Explanation

This activity is used to import an excel plug-in package comprising of asset information. In this activity the exported and modified plug-in package of the current job will be converted to an integration package. It can be performed in the Import Plug-in Package window where it is possible to view the progress of the import.

Prerequisites

A plug-in package on the current job must have already been exported.

System Effects

An xml integration package is generated.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to import the plug in package:

1. Click Start on the Import Plug-In Package window to initiate the import process. If any existing integration package exists, it will be replaced by this action.

Note: The progress of import of each business object is displayed on the Current business object progress bar while the progress of the entire import process is displayed on the Overall Progress bar. When this bar reaches its end, the import is complete.
