Explanation

This activity is used to connect a design part code collection to a design part and register descriptive codes from the collection to the design part.

Prerequisites

The design part code collection must be created, connected to a class, and defined with codes

Procedure

1. Open the Design Part or Design Parts window.
2. Search for the required design part.
3. In the Code Collection field, enter the name of the code collection to be connected to the design part. Use the List of Values to select a suitable code collection.
4. In at least one of the four design part code fields (Code 1-Code 4), enter the code from the collection for the design part. Use the List of Values to select and insert a code. It doesn't matter which code fields you enter values. For example, you can insert codes in field 4 or fields 1, 2, and 3. The more codes inserted, the easier it will be to search when entering design part codes for the object.
5. Click Save.
